Hey Oppo, I Bought Some Stuff

With the start of 2016, brings the start of some new projects and flips. So here we go.

On Sunday, I picked this up: a 1984 Mazda RX-7. This one isn’t really a flip, more a project that I’ve wanted to do for years, but finally stumbled across this roller so dirty cheap that I couldn’t not do it.

he plan is to create the ‘Some Fucks Given’ RX7. If some crucial parts are easy enough to source, I’ll be doing a 5.0 HO and T5 swap. Most likely some suspension upgrades (coils, sway bars, etc.) and brakes. I got the motor and trans on Tuesday, so we’ll see when I can get started.

I’ll try my best to document the build as an ongoing story.

Next up is this.

This is a 1998 Jeep Wrangler that I picked up yesterday. 4.0L with an auto trans. Comes with a big ass winch and KC lights that don’t work.

These are the only photos I’ve got of it so far. It’s been really cold out and it gets dark pretty soon after I get home.

Long story short, this one will be a flip. There’s a couple little things to fix. Someone filled the already dismal Wrangler trunk with a speaker box and an aftermarket stereo that doesn’t work. There’s wiring hanging down from the dash, so that’s all going to be torn out and fixed. And... that’s pretty much it so far.

Other than that, the sorority girl 2011 Mazda 3 I bought before moving is going to get sold relatively soon. I just don’t have any need for a vehicle that expensive; It’s just tying up money that could be used for more projects.
